Educational Program Highlights

The ROI of an Unforgettable Impression                                                                                    Presented by Christina Miranda, Co-Owner of NYC-based Redpoint  Marketing PR        It takes time and money to make a memorable impact on a guest…two things that are always in short supply.  No hotelier would deliberately choose a path that proactively harms a guest, but in order to contain costs and preserve time, most end up (consciously or unconsciously) delivering a neutral experience.  Listen up, people:  neutral guest relationships are no friend of your financial statements.  Investing time and money into making an unforgettable impression will strengthen your business from the inside out and protect your long-term revenue.  How do you allocate your investment and then measure its success?  By studying your spending habits, making smarter choices, and aligning your financial goals with different benchmarks.  Warning:  you must have a little faith in the power of positivity, so curmudgeons should get ready to have their world rocked at this session.

Serving Up---The Buzz, The Love and The Glow!                                                     Presented by Gregg Patterson, GM, The Beach Club, Los Angeles, CA

The People Factor transforms the “service experience” from routine to memorable. Hotels and resorts are in the business of delivering “Memorable Moments” and staff who can deliver The Warm Embrace, who can stimulate The Buzz, who can express The Love and who can produce The Glow are the most valuable tool clubs have in their ongoing battle for member loyalty.

Channeling "your Voice" Part 1                                                                                 Optimizing your Reservation Sales Opportunities                                                  Presented by JC Thompson, Senior VP of Coaching, Aspire Marketing, Phoenix, AZ        For the past few years, many have believed that the voice channel (your reservations line was about to become obsolete, taken over by online technology channels.  Never has this prediction been more wrong- especially for inns and resorts like us!  Yes, 3rd parties are here to stay.  Your website engages potential customers into buying and the fact remains when guests call, it is because they want to talk: a true buying signal.  Actually, research indicates that with more technology, people want to chat more about the things they want to buy.
