2016 PEF Family Conference

DO THE WORK OF AN EVANGELIST

Join us at the beautiful campus of Covenant College on the top of Lookout Mountain, Georgia for a time of spiritual refreshment,  ministry challenging, Christian fellowship with Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship TEAM Members, Staff and friends.

Rev. Al Baker will be leading the conference speaking and seminars and has invited Rev. Peter Hammond, Dr. Elias Mederios, and Rev. Irwyn Ince as featured speakers. We will also have children and youth programs.

The all inclusive conference will have seminars in the morning, free time in the afternoon with an option to evangelize and evening services. 

Housing and meals are included in the On-Campus price and meals are included in the Off-Campus price.

About Our Speakers

Rev. Al Baker

Pastor Baker is ordained in the PCA and has been in the ministry for over 30 years. A graduate of the University of Alabama, he received his M.Div.  degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. His ministry is in Birmingham, AL serving in many areas as an Evangelist with Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship (PEF) and as Director of the Alabama Church Planting Network (ACPN). Al and his wife, Wini, have been married 40 years and have three grown children, Andrew, Allen and Jeff, and nine precious grandchildren. 

Rev. Peter Hammond

Peter was born in Cape Town (in 1960) and brought up in Bulawayo (in what was then  war-torn  Rhodesia - now Zimbabwe). He was converted to Christ in 1977, worked in Scripture Union and Hospital Christian Fellowship, served in the South African Defence Force and studied at Baptist Theological College, Cape Town. He also earned a Doctorate in Missiology and has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity. Peter is married to Lenora, Peter and Lenora have been blessed with 4 children whom they have home schooled. For over 33 years, Dr. Peter Hammond has pioneered missionary outreachesRev. Peter Hammond is the Founder and Director of Frontline Fellowship, the Founder and Chairman of Africa Christian Action, the Director of the Christian Action Network and Chairman of The Reformation Society. He is the author of numerous books and editor of Fontline Fellowship News and Christian Action magazine as well as a Contributing-Editor of JOY! Magazine and JUIG!. Since 1995 Peter hosts a weekly radio programme, Salt and Light, on Radio Tygerberg in Cape Town. Peter is regularly involved in personal and literature evangelism in the streets and in the townships. He is a Missionary member of Livingstone Fellowship. He is also the Chairman of The Reformation Society.

Rev. Irwyn Ince

Irwin Ince

Rev. Irwyn L. Ince, Jr. serves as pastor of City of Hope Presbyterian Church in Columbia, Maryland. Pastor Ince was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He and his wife Kim married in May 1992. They moved to Maryland in 1995 where he began a career at Motorola as a Systems Engineer. He graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in June 2006 with a Master of Arts in Religion. He is currently doing dissertation work in this focus area for the Doctor of Ministry program at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. In 2006 Pastor Ince began full time ministry at Mount Zion Covenant Church (PCA) in Bowie, MD in January 2006. In addition to his ministry passion, Pastor Ince is addicted to both coffee and CrossFit. He and Kim are the proud parents of four children, Jelani (23), Nabil (20), Zakiya (17) and Jeremiah (11).

Dr. Elias Mederios

Rev. Dr. Elias Medeiros has been an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church of Brazil since January 1975. While in Brazil he worked in pioneer church planting in the Amazon jungle and in Recife (rural and urban church planting). He also pastored three churches while in Brazil, taught at several theological institutions, including the Northeast Presbyterian Seminary, and was Academic Dean at the Evangelical Missions Center. Since 1993 he serves as the Harriet Barbour Professor of Mission at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS, USA. He is a member of the Lausanne Global Diaspora Network Advisory Board, of the Brazilian Evangelical Diaspora movement, and of the Refugee Ministry International.  Elias Medeiros is married for more than 40 years to a beautiful Dutch lady, Fokjelina Schalkwijk, and both are deeply committed to evangelism and discipleship across the street and around the world through every member of the body of Christ. They have three adult children and seven granddaughters.
