 This workshop explores how to research, find and finance a franchise and explores all the different advantages that exist in owning a business…from starting your own business to buying an existing business to purchasing a franchise. He also discuss the various financing options that are available to individuals looking to own their own business.

 This workshop explores how to find the ‘right’ franchise that meets your personal lifestyle and financial goals, also discusses the different opportunities that exist in the Chicago area as well as the different options available to finance your small business

This workshop will help you understand opportunities and challenges to owning your own business and give you the knowledge of how to finance your small business.

 Presenter: John McLellan is president of FranNet’s Chicago office. FranNet is the largest franchise consulting company in North America and has partnered with SCORE in Chicago for over ten years as well as being a partner with SCORE nationally. One of Chicago’s most experienced franchise professionals; John has over twenty five years of franchise experience working with franchisors both large and small including McDonalds, Wendy’s International, Molly Maid, Mr. Handyman and others.  John is married with three grown children and currently lives in the city. He is a graduate of Villanova University.
