Opening Presentation

Get ready to rock the house with our opening presentation by Giving Tree Music Inc.,!!!

Steve Turner, owner and founder of Giving Tree Music Inc. and co-facilitator Johannes "Ice" Quilitz have been playing music and drumming together for over 25 years! Their passion for drumming is matched only by their love for sharing the gift of music with others.

Giving Tree Music's teaching style is based on the belief that Music is a Language, and that all people have a natural sense of rhythm, stemming from their own heartbeat. All it takes is to believe in one's self and allow the music to flow through. Remember, "Drumming Is Easy!" and participants are always guided and encouraged to overcome any insecurities about the process so they can truly have an “in the moment” experience.

In addition to actively performing, teaching, and providing rhythm based events to businesses, schools, at risk youth, special needs groups, festivals, and corporate team building seminars, Giving Tree Music is also traveling nationwide with a Non-Profit Mobile Literacy Outreach - Bess the Book Bus, combining the joy of reading and the with the musical empowerment of drumming. Through experience, we have learned these two programs complement each other perfectly!
