In 2014 The Guibord Center visited the Islamic Center of Southern California for "Sacred Texts in Sacred Places." Many attendees chose to join members of the Muslim community in prayer together in this sacred place.

Decoding Rituals and Symbols of Islam
Most of us might never get up the courage to venture into a mosque, church, gurdwara, temple or synagogue on our own. The Guibord Center opens the doors of Sacred Spaces in Los Angeles and invites us to bring our friends and join with people of various spiritualities and traditions to enter into the prayer life and symbols of different faith traditions.
On April 9th of this year, we return to the Islamic Center for "Decoding Rituals and Symbols of Islam". Please join us for an enlightening afternoon at the mosque where you can ask all your questions and learn about Islam for yourself.
however Registration is a must to aid our hosts in planning.
Important information about parking and attire will be sent to all registrants prior to the event.
