ASPE Boston Chapter February Meeting

The February technical topic will be on Nitrogen Generation for labs. This meeting will be held on Wednesday February 10, 2016 in Randolph, MA at The Lantana. The session will focus on why you would generate nitrogen gas vs. purchasing it. We will go into two approaches of how to generate nitrogen; membrane and PSA as well as benefits of each technology. Some of the issues of storing and handling nitrogen gas as well as bleeding off issues will be discussed. The topic will also go into the cost of producing nitrogen, some of the long term benefits, and finally realistic purity targets.

This session will be presented by Bob Littman from Air Energy, LLC in S. Easton MA. He is the co-owner and founder of Air Energy. Bob has been in the compressed air and vacuum industry since 1980 and has specialized in the lab and medical field. Bob works with many engineering firms, contractors and equipment vendors to properly specify compressed air, vacuum and now nitrogen generation equipment throughout the USA with a specific focus in New England.
