Want to engage youth in long-term, structured learning-environments that address their interests and help develop their physical, cognitive, social and emotional skills and abilities? This one-day conference sponsored by K-State Research and Extension 4-H, Kansas Department of Education and Kansas Enrichment Network highlights hands-on curricula that adapt easily for out-of-school settings.
This conference is open to anyone - certified teachers, afterschool program directors, community or faith-based afterschool providers, summer recreation providers, extension agents and any interested adult who works with children.
One-day Conference
October 4, 2016 Check-in at 8:00 Conference from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
All Breakout Sessions are hands-on and interactive. Topics include science, math, critical thinking and problem solving, nutrition, nature and environment, program planning and management techniques, program quality assessment and more!
Cost: $25.00--includes lunch and activity materials

Dress: Professional Casual (some breakout sessions will include physical activity)
