2016 Stewardship Extravaganza! 

The Vermont Conference, United Church of Christ invites you to the 2016 Stewardship Extravaganza!

Attend this one day event at which you can recommit to doing Financial Stewardship well in your church BECAUSE:

Strong financial stewardship enables thriving church missions and ministries.  

Even if you are doing annual stewardship well in your church, how would you answer these questions:

- How are the church investments and endowments doing?

- Would you like a way to present the church budget that is interesting and dynamic?

- How well is your Planned Giving program producing fruit for future generations?

- What is the Pastor’s role in Stewardship?

Come and join us! The day will feature worship, large group work, and workshops on:

Annual Campaigns, Investments and Endowments, Narrative Budgets,  The Minister as Director of Development, and Planned Giving.

We welcome as our opening speaker the Rev. Craig Anderson! Craig's keynote presentation is titled: "Guess What Jesus Talked About Daily."

Craig will also lead a workshop titled:                   "The Minister as Director of Development"

A retired UCC minister, Craig has led courses and workshops on fundraising, drawing from his experience as a local church pastor, and training at NYU's Heyman Center of Philanthropy and Fundraising and the Center for Philanthropy at Indiana University. He lives in New Boston, NH, keeping busy gathering sap, harvesting apples, and volunteering. 

Teams of 4-6 people from each church are encouraged to attend. Individuals are also welcome.

Lunch is included in the $20 registration fee.
