The Politics of Affordable Housing

Wednesday, February 24, 2016
Program 6:00 pm
Book signing to follow

The high cost of housing is one of the greatest channlenges facing New York and other large U.S. cities today.  To coincide with the publication of the new collection, Affordable Housing in New York: The People, Places, and Policies That Transformed a City and an exhibition of the same name at Hunter East Harlem Gallery (February 10 - May 15, 2016), co-editors Nicholas Dagen Bloom and Matthew Gordon Lasner bring together a panel of leaders to discuss New York's rich legacy of affordable housing and what lessons from the past can be applied today in New York and nationally.
