Scott Fair

Scott has been with FNBC since 2006 and brings over 25 years of experience in the Human Resources, Benefits Consulting and Benefits Administration disciplines.  He has extensive experience in developing comprehensive benefits plan cost containment strategies, managing complex benefit administration engagements, performing in-depth claims analyses and developing / supporting accountable care programs for several key clients. 

Prior to joining FNBC Consulting, Scott led the PA health and welfare consulting practice for a national benefits consulting firm.  In addition, he held Senior HR positions at TE Connectivity, where he was responsible for the Compensation, Benefits, and HR Service Center functions for their U.S. operations.  Scott received his Master of Arts degree from St. Francis University.

 


Sharyn McCormick
Assistant Vice President
First Niagara Benefits Consulting

Sharyn has been with FNBC for ten years.  She has over 20 years of experience in benefits consulting and technology.  Prior to joining the FNBC team, Sharyn served as the service and retention manager for several associations’ health plan clients while employed with national consulting firms.  She developed expertise on web-based benefits administration systems while serving as the business consultant for several years on an enrollment site development team. 

Since joining FNBC, Sharyn has served as lead consultant for implementation and ongoing management of FNBC’s Benefits Administration solution, the web-based benefits and human resources administration system powered by bswift, for 23 association and corporate clients.  Sharyn, along with colleagues, currently represents FNBC on the bswift Channel Partner Advisory Board.  She holds a B.S. in Marketing from York College and is studying to earn the CEBS designation through the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

 


Don Garlitz
Senior Vice President
bswift

Don leads business development and carrier partner relationships for bswift’s marketplace and contributes to the development of consumer-facing technology, including bswift’s Ask Emma decision support tool. Don started as an insurance producer in 1997 and has held various sales, consulting and management positions at FirstWest Benefit Solutions, Beneficial Life and Aflac.

Don also has significant legislative and regulatory experience and received a formal commendation from the Governor of Utah for outstanding work as a consultant to the state while helping establish a multi-carrier, employee-choice small business exchange prior to the passage of the Affordable Care Act. Don has a BS from Brigham Young University.
