8th Annual Cascade to Coast
Wine for Water
The 8th Annual Cascade to Coast "Wine For Water" benefit for Water For People will be held July 28th at the beautiful Sweet Cheeks Winery located 15 minutes south of Eugene, OR. This fun event features a silent auction, live music, wine and craft beer tasting, a presentation, appetizers and a local food cart for additional food options.
Musical entertainment by a youth marimba group, Mutswi Wambuya from the Kutsinhira Cultural Arts Center. Look forward to their high energy music from Zimbabwe. Justin Ford from Murray Smith & Associates will share his experience as a project volunteer with Water For People. He conducted follow-up surveys with users of water and sanitary facilities installed in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
Not only will there be fabulous Sweet Cheeks wine available, but local craft beers on tap. Tickets include your first beverage! Event profits go directly to Water For People, a non-profit organization that helps support the development of locally sustainable drinking water resources, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education programs in developing countries.
