This webinar will address key issues related to teen brain development, cognitive function, and interaction with adults. The presenter will also provide guidance on counseling adolescents on avoiding reproductive coercion and involving their parents/guardians in their reproductive healthcare decisions.
Objectives: 1. Increase knowledge of the adolescent's developing brain; 2. Recognize signs of reproductive coercion in teens; 3. Respond to teens who report reproductive coercion; 4. Learn tactics for counseling teens on involving their parents/guardians in their reproductive healthcare decisions.
