The divisions within and between Jewish and Christian communities in discussions about Israel and Palestine, are based on more than contemporary political views; they are also grounded in select understandings of Scripture. How does biblical interpretation necessarily lead to conflicting views, and how might an historical approach to the Bible help advance collaborative work for peace in the Middle East?
