About the Facilitator: Dr. Phil Maynard currently serves as Director, Path 1 Coaching Network/New Church Strategist (General Board of Discipleship) and Director, Excellence in Ministry Coaching (www.emc3coaching.com).  He is the author of the book Shift: Helping Congregations Get Back Into the Game of Effective Ministry.  In addition to being a local church pastor who has served churches of various sizes for over 20 years, Dr. Maynard has led dozens of churches through the process of transformation, has consulted with dozens more, and in addition, now coaches & trains leaders and trains coaches to work in ministry and discipleship coaching.  He also coaches new church planters across the country.
