Drive to Whistler, BC 

June 3-5, 2016

Frankie has organized another one of his fabulous drives. This time we are revisiting Whistler, BC.

We'll gather on Friday morning at 9:30 am to hold a driver's meeting and  go over our trip itinerary. After crossing the border, we'll continue to White Rock BC to have lunch and meet with the Canadian participants. PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED YOUR PASSPORT, AN ENHANCED DRIVER'S LICENSE, OR A NEXUS PASS TO CROSS THE BORDER AND RETURN.

We will stay at the Hilton Whistler, where a block of rooms has been reserved for us at C$199 per night, plus appicable taxes. Secure, underground gated parking is reserved for us for C$26 per night in addition to the room rate. Friday evening we will have a wine and cheese social at Kerry Chesbro's, before dinner on your own.

Saturday morning Frankie has arranged a scenic drive to Lillooet, with a stop at Nairn Provincial Park for a short hike (sturdy footwear recommended,) and photos. After lunch in Lillooet, we will stop at Anderson Lake Overlook for a group photo with spectacular Anderson Lake in the background.

Saturday evening we will have a group dinner and social at a Tuscan style restaurant a short walk from the hotel.

THE COMPLETE ITINERARY, INCLUDING MEETING LOCATIONS AND RESTAURANTS WILL BE SENT A WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT, ONLY TO THOSE WHO HAVE REGISTERED.
