Franklin CarterFranklin Carter
is an editorial consultant who has edited books (including trade non-fiction and textbooks), websites, magazines and newsletters for 19 years. In 2014, Franklin and his colleagues won a Kenneth R. Wilson Award for their work on the May/June 2013 issue of CMA magazine, a Canadian accounting journal. He is a graduate of the Ryerson School of Journalism and a member of the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors.

Karen Luttrell Karen Luttrell is a freelance fundraising writer, non-profit marketer, part-time professor, and proud word nerd. Before launching her business, Karen led marketing and communications for local, national and international charities, proofread for Oshawa-Whitby This Week, and edited The Radio Guide for CBC. She teaches College English, at the George Brown College Centre for Business, and Strategic Writing, at Humber College. She is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators, and she volunteers as President of PWAC Toronto Chapter.

Jaclyn Law Jaclyn Law is a versatile writer and an in-demand editor with 20 years’ experience in crafting copy for diverse audiences. After working at Chatelaine as copy chief and Abilities Magazine as managing editor, Jaclyn became a full-time freelancer in 2006. Her clients include companies, marketing agencies, non-profit organizations, magazines and websites. Jaclyn has been a speaker for Editors Canada, Culture Days, Artscape, Canadian University Press and BookCamp TO. She is a member of Editors Canada and PWAC, and she is a Past-President of PWAC Toronto Chapter.


Krystyna Lagowski Krystyna Lagowski is an automotive writer and the author of She specializes in automotive, women's issues, transportation, environmental and non-profit. Krystyna volunteers as Corporate Secretary for PWAC Toronto Chapter.
