Don't Mess With Texas Trash-Off - Lockhart 

You are cordially invited to join us in Lockhart, TX, for a community-wide cleanup event on April 9, 2016!

The City of Lockhart and Keep Lockhart Beautiful are participating in the 2016 Don't Mess With Texas Trash-Off on April 9th, but we can't do it without your help. Take advantage of this great oportunity for your group's next service project!

This is an event of the Lockhart community, for the Lockhart community and by the Lockhart community. In other words, it is what we make of it. The focus for this event will be on litter removal, but Trash-Off volunteers and all members of the community are encouraged to welcome spring with any cleanup or beautification activity that motivates you and your neighbors to Keep Lockhart Beautiful!


  • Become an official volunteer and pick up a free cleanup kit at H-E-B or City Park on April 9th
  • Pick up trash in front of your home or business
  • Help your disabled or elderly neighbor with a chore
  • Plant some Texas native, drought-tolerant trees or shrubs
  • Mow the lawn
  • Sign up for City of Lockhart Curbside Recycling Program
  • Exterior painting / cleaning
