Simple Steps for Starting My Business
In recognition of Vancouver's May "Small Business Month" celebration, SCORE offers our 2 day Simple Steps pre-business workshop to help you reach a “go or no-go” decision for a business start-up. The Workshop will provide registrants with content, homework and SCORE mentoring to give you a deeper, higher-level conversation between you and your mentor as to whether you really are ready to start a business.
The Workshop will be team-presented by several SCORE Vancouver Certified Course Leaders who help and challenge you to place a successful plan into action. And following the Workshop, any additional SCORE mentoring needed to bring your idea to reality is always free.
Held over the two successive Saturdays of May 14 and 21, 2016, you'll cover five essential business topics including Start-up Basics, Business Concept, Marketing Planning, Financial Projections and Funding. You will receive an email version of the Course Workbook approximately 2 weeks in advance of the first Saturday session (a hard copy will also be available at the first Saturday session) so you can come prepared for classroom and roundtable discussion, case studies and even ready to do some homework!
The $90 Fee covers both sessions, all course materials and any requested subsequent business mentoring. Seating limited to 20 registrants.
