Centering Prayer and the Divine Indwelling

Led by Fr. Bill Sheehan

"Centering Prayer is a Christian meditative practice rooted in ancient monastic tradition that quiets the mind and opens the heart through intentional consent to divine love.  Through the practice of Centering Prayer we cooperate with the Holy Spirit to enable a direct experience over time of the personal presence and activity of God in our lives."

Since 1983, Fr. Sheehan has been been a primary teacher and trainer with Contemplative Outreach founded by Fr. Thomas Keating, O.C.S.O.  During that time, he has led many Centering Prayer workshops and retreats throughout the country.

This series sponsored by:

  • Leadership Development Initiative
  • Contemplative Outreach of Boston
  • The Cathedral Church of St Paul, Boston
  • The Crossing, Boston
  • The Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts

Please register below. Registration closes on April 14.
