This year's review will feature an update on current economic developments from Raymond E. Owens, III, Research Advisor & Senior Economist with The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.
Ray Owens began working at the Richmond Federal Reserve in 1983 and is currently a senior economist and research advisor in the Research Department. He has published academic articles in fields as diverse as monetary policy, financial markets, and economic development policy, but he spends most of his time analyzing national and regional economic conditions. Regularly quoted in the financial press, he frequently talks to groups on current economic developments. In addition to tracking economic trends, Ray has written papers on credit issues, commercial and real estate markets, economic development incentives, and other regional economic topics.
