Fast Healthcare Interoperability Standard (FHIR) Connectathon 

This connectathon aims to build the next generation of integrated, interoperable innovative solutions. We are looking for innovative solutions and creative ideas built upon the Epic FHIR sandbox. This event is organized by Indiana HIMSS Chapter, Eskenazi Health, and Epic. Come spend a weekend with us and build the future!

ELIGIBILITY

• All participants must sign the release of liability and assumption of risk waiver form made available at the event.
• All participants must be at least 18 years or older.
• All participants, through submission, agree to the rules as outlined in the "Code of Conduct".
• All participants must either be United States citizens or eligible to work in the United States.
• All submissions must be submitted per the rules outlined on the day of the event at the connectathon.

TENTATIVE AGENDA

Saturday, April 23rd

8:30am - 9:00am:  Check-in and lite breakfast

9:00am - 9:15am:  Welcoming remarks

9:15am - 10:00am:  Building an app to work with Epic and FHIR API Overview

11:30am - 12:30pm:  Lunch

5:50pm - 6:30pm:  Dinner

9:00pm:  Event site closes - but app building can occur off site

Sunday, April 24th

9:00am - 9:15am:  Welcoming back remarks

11:30am - 12:30pm:  Lunch

5:30pm - 6:30pm:  Dinner

7:00pm:  Application submission due

7:30pm:  Presentations begin

9:30pm:  Judges score and winner announced
