The 52nd edition of the longest running antique boat show in North America will be held August 5-7, 2016 at the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, NY. This year’s featured boat is the Disappearing Propeller Boat, fondly referred to as Dippys or Dispros. The Museum is proud to welcome the Dispro Owners Association to participate in this year’s show and fly the Dippy flag! To encourage a strong showing of Dispros, the Museum gladly extends to DOA members the following benefits:

  • $40 discounted registration fee for boats (regular fee $65)
  • $25 discounted weekend pass fee for individuals who would like to come to the show but cannot bring their boat (regular fee $30)
  • space for DOA land display
  • preferential docking assignments to keep DOA members together
  • reserved seating at Saturday’s dinner and Sunday’s brunch
  • invitation to Friday’s exclusive picnic cruise.

 Thursday August 4 – Launching Day

  • Registration and launching 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Exhibitor’s cruise in afternoon (cruise on your boat, led by an ABM captain)
  • Evening welcome reception, introducing ACBS Guest Chapter Niagara-Frontier and DOA

Friday August 5

  • Show open to public 9 AM – 5 PM
  • Forums, kids activities, shop nautical Marketplace
  • Preview auction boats
  • Exclusive evening cruise to Rock Island Lighthouse (cruise on your boat or ride on an ABM boat) for ACBS Guest Chapter Niagara-Frontier and DOA members, enjoy complimentary picnic dinner

Saturday August 6

  • Show open to public, 9 AM – 5 PM
  • Forums, kids activities, shop nautical Marketplace
  • Judging of boats led by Chief Judge Brian Gagnon
  • Youth judging sponsored by Hagerty
  • Antique boat auction, 1 PM
  • Dinner, 6 PM Tickets required
  • Block Dance, 8 PM – 10 PM Free admission, cash bar

 Sunday August 7

  • Show open to public, 9 AM – 12 PM (concludes at finish of Grand Parade)
  • Brunch, 10 AM Tickets required
  • Awards Ceremony, 10:30 AM
  • Grand Parade, 12 PM
  • Pulling of boats and fond farewells, 1 PM
