A Parenting “Time Out” for a Parent’s Time In  Resiliency Retreat & Workshop Sunday, April 3 from 12:30 to 4:30 at the Natick Community Senior Center

FREE WORKSHOP! Register early – spaces are limited!

Presentations, conversation and reflection on key principles from the SPARK Kindness “Resilient Parent, Resilient Child” series. The workshop will address:

  • “Resiliency” – What is it and why does it matter?
  • Coping with Stress – How a resiliency approach can help.
  • Using Humor and Connection - How laughter and relationships can help keep you together.
  • Compassion and Empathy - How to cultivate kindness and understanding toward yourself and others (with special guest presenter, Dr. Mary Catherine Savard, Ed.D., Simmons College & Fordham University).

Build concrete strategies and practices for resiliency and well being in your family. Put the principles into practice!

SPARK Kindness Team Members Leading this Workshop: 

    

Catherine Brunell (Program Leader) is an author, trained facilitator, retreat leader and a mother of 5. She has a teaching certificate from the state of Illinois and a Masters degree in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College. Catherine is interested in everyday well being practices because they are the hardest to master and are often the most beneficial.

 Dr. Amy Pettit (Program Consultant) is a licensed psychologist who completed pre- and postdoctoral training at Yale School of Medicine and Joslin Diabetes Center/Harvard Medical School. She focuses on helping kids and families translate wellness advice into their day-to-day lives.
