Caregivers: Lessons from the UK, Opportunities for Ontario

Overview:
The United Kingdom is known as a leader in recognizing the role of caregivers within the health care system. With the recent introduction of caregiver legislation in the UK, we are hosting a Hot Talks on Health discussion so that policy-makers, decision-makers, and important health care stakeholders can learn from their experience.

This event will feature a keynote address from Heléna Herklots, Chief Executive, Carers UK, as well as remarks from Dr. Joshua Tepper, President and CEO, Health Quality Ontario, and Katherine Arnup, PhD, Family Caregiver and Author of I don't have time for this: A compassionate guide to caring for your parents and yourself.

Please note that tickets to attend in person are SOLD OUT. To be added to our waiting list, please contact Jeff Junke, Communications Associate at The Change Foundation.

However, registration is still open for the event webcast.

Registration - 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Presentations - 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
