2016 Plattsburgh Brewfest Vendor Registration
The Plattsburgh Brewfest invites your business to join the second annual Plattsburgh Brewfest event as a vendor. You will have the opportunity to showcase your products to 2000+ guests from New York, Vermont, Montreal, Massachusetts and beyond for over 4 hours.
Craft beverage samples will be paid for, also no registration fee- except a small refundable deposit - refunded upon your arrival, for breweries. Farm breweries, wineries and cideries will be able to sell product for off site consumption per NY SLA regulations. There is limited tent space and you are encouraged to bring your own tent and marketing props. The brewfest is on a 2.5 acre parcel of the city beach so there will be plenty of room to stretch your marketing efforts.
All other vendors are invited to showcase your products. The festival is set on the Plattsburgh City Beach. You will need to supply your own tent and table. It can be windy and in the Adirondacks we never know what the weather will be. The main event will be under a tent and we may have several small 10x10 tents available for a small donation but plan on bringing your own marketing setups.
We will purchase the beer/cider from you and ask that you send a brewery representative to the festival, so our guests may talk to someone about your product. If you would like to donate any product to the festival, it would be greatly appreicated. In exchange, we would grant you with (4) free GA tickets to the brewfest per donated keg.
Certificates of Insurance must be recived with your application. The certificate must include:
1. 1 Million Liability per occurence
2. 1 Million Liquor Liability per occurrence
3. The City of Plattsburgh as Additional Insured
4. Elf Farm Winery as additional insured
Alcohol Vendors: There is no fee for breweries, cideries or wineries to participate, other than a refundable deposit of $50.00 that will be refunded upon arrival to the festival. The festival will purchase from you at wholesale, the product you sample. This does not apply to farm wineries or cideries since you will be able to sample and sell your product for offsite consumption. NY SLA requires a marketing permit to sample beer at a brewfest. The permit can be found at https://www.sla.ny.gov/online-permit-applications
Food Vendors: There is a non-refundable $75.00 fee for food establishments to serve. You will also be reimbursed a set fee for each ticket you turn in. Each guest will receive 3 food tickets at the gate. We are looking for small sample portions, with a reimbursement fee of $1.50 per portion. Sample portions, must be small plates. Tickets cannot be combined to pay for a whole meal. Last year one of the biggest complaints we received was there was not enough walk around food and that they had to "spend" the three tickets at one place to get food. To participate this year you must offer small plates valued at one ticket. If you would like to separately sell meals, for cash to the patrons, you are able to do so. Also you may display and market your brand in the space provided and with sample ambassadors.
All Other Vendors: vendors, there is a non-refundable $50.00 fee. You will receive a space on the beach property. You are responsible for bringing & setting up your tent (10x10 Max) There is no available electricity. You must follow 1,3 & 4 of the above insurance requirements.

Proceeds will be donated to two charities - a local tourism group and the Tour de Force, a 501(c)3. The Tour de Force which was founded after 911 and provide support to families of police officers fallen in the line of duty.
The Plattsburgh Brewfest is held on the historic Plattsburgh City Beach and is a rain or shine event. The 2015 Plattsburgh Brewfest was a sold out event. We welcomed over 1300 people to sample over 25 breweries and cideries products.
All representatives from your business MUST be 21+. No one under 21 will be admitted to the Brewfest per NYS Law for Brewfests. Everyone must bring a valid picture ID as proof of age. No Exceptions.
