Join bird photographer Gary Woods and Point Blue biologist Jim Tietz for a leisurely walk to the top of Black Mountain during the height of the migratory season. On the hike they will discuss bird migration and bird identification. Black Mountain is known for its migratory bird activity, so be prepared to be impressed. The hike is a fairly easy 4 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 800ft.
Birders of all skill levels and children are welcome. Meet at the Black Mountain office. Bring binoculars, lunch, water and sun protection.
There is no cost, but register now as spots are limited!
