The Colgate 26 Racing Program provides sailors with an opportunity to pit their sailing skills against other skippers and crews in the exciting forum of Wednesday night racing at Monroe Harbor. Sailors will learn the basic rules of racing, helmsmanship, advanced sail trim, flying the spinnaker, and working together as a team bring your boat across the finish line fast, safe, and in style.
The course includes a pre-racing seminar and two weeks of training before the racing begins. Sailors new to racing may sign up as crew, experienced skippers may sign up as individuals, or consider reserving the boat for an entire series and recruit their own crew.
Series 1 (May-June): Dates are May 25, June 1, June 8, and June 15 (4 weeks).
Pre-Sail Orientation: TBD
Practice Sessions: May 11 and May 18
