SAT vs. ACT Foundation

The SAT vs. ACT Intensive is for rising 11th Graders looking to answer the SAT vs. ACT question: which test is better for me? The class introduces students to  the ACT and the redesigned SAT. Classes consist of 12 students or fewer and are guided by a CATES Team Member. The curriculum includes two mock tests (one for the SAT and one for the ACT) and classes on content, strategy, and test-taking skill that cover and practice aspects of both exams. The small class size allows the CATES Class Leader to provide individualized feedback to each of the students helping them address their individual needs and strategize for SAT/ACT preparation into their junior year. By the end of the two-weekend course, students should know which test is a better fit and can begin formal preparation. 

Schedule:

• Saturday, September 10 from 10 am - 1:30 pm
• Sunday, September 11 from 10 am - 1:30 pm

• Saturday, September 17 from 10 am - 1:30 pm
• Sunday, September 18 from 10 am - 1:30 pm

The deadline for registration is 5pm six days before the course begins.
