Democratizing the DBQ:
Helping ALL students to Read, Think and Write in History &Civics.
For over a decade, The DBQ Project has promoted rigorous reading and writing instruction for all students, not just those in advanced classes. This workshop will be interactive and participants will receive a sample unit from The DBQ Project materials. Open to History/Social Studies and ELA teachers grades 4-12, curriculum coorindators, and literacy coaches.
