  • "Lincoln and Reconstruction" - with Dr. Scott Yenor, Professor of Political Science at Boise State University. This free training is a unique and exciting collaboration between the Arizona Department of Education and Workshop check-in begins at 8:15 am and the workshop runs from 8:30  am - 3:30 pm. We are part of the network of more than 110 affiliated state, local, and regional councils and associated groups with the National Council for the Social Studies. Our membership represents K-12 classroom teachers, college and university faculty members, curriculum designers and specialists, social studies supervisors, and leaders in the various disciplines that constitute the social studies.
