Greater Gallatin United Way kidsLINK Afterschool was established in 1997 in Three Forks, MT to help support working families by keeping children safe while their parents finished their work day. Today, kidsLINK Afterschool has over 4,000 youth enrolled with 1,611 attending every day in 29 programs operating in Gallatin, Park, Sweetgrass and Meagher Counties. Afterschool programming provides a bridge between out-of-school experiences and in-school learning; increasing interest in education and school itself.
The success of kidsLINK Afterschool is the result of strong partnerships, loyal donors, dedicated foundations, and the ability to utilize existing community resources. This is our first fundraising event to raise more money for kidsLINK Afterschool and continue to meet the needs of our growing communities.
