As San Diego grows, so too does the need for local food sources and the preservation of suitable agricultural land. This PowerPoint video of the April 24, 2015 APA San Diego luncheon focuses on the evolving landscape of agriculture in our region, trends in community development and the growing drivers for locally sourced food, economic impacts, environmental regulatory and land use planning policies and programs, including the County of San Diego Purchase of Agricultural Conservation Easement (PACE) program, and the academic research perspective of San Diego's food systems and food-water-energy nexus.
