The South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission will conduct a Claims Administration Workshop on Friday, May 20, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the South Carolina Department of Archives and History, 8301 Parklane Road, Columbia, SC 29223.
This workshop is for individuals responsible for processing, managing and adjudicating claims in the State's workers' compensation system; including attorneys, adjusters, claims managers, risk managers, paralegals, legal assistants, insurance carriers, and employers. Commission staff will lead the discussion and be available to respond to questions on specific topics related to claims processing, the hearing and adjudication process, and coverage and compliance. The agenda includes a time for participants to have open discussion with Commission Chairman Scott Beck and his administrative assistant. The workshop will also include an overview of system enhancements to the Commission's electronic processes and procedures including eCase, Upload, and electronic filing.
REGISTRATION: Cost to attend the workshop is $60 per person and payment may be made electronically at the time of registration. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. No registration will be processed without full payment.
