Natural disasters and manmade catastrophes can bring normal community

and clients could all be impacted in various ways.

In this workshop you will learn about things you need to consider
when creating a business continuity plan. You will get a better understanding
of how to ensure your business and employees can resume normal activities
after a disaster as soon as possible.

Representatives from the Calvert County Division of Emergency Management,
a local insurance provider, the Small Business Development Center
and the Department of Economic Development will be on hand
to discuss the following topics:

  • Basics of Business Continuity Planning
  • Overview of Business Insurance
  • Overview of Federal, State and Local Resources
  • After the Disaster - Case Studies and Lessons Learned
