ICD-10 for Family Planning Providers -- How Are We Doing? 

During this face-to-face day long training, Dr. Olson will review ICD-10 coding principles, respond to specific questions from practitioners, present and discuss the results of family planning chart audits to identify areas that practitioners can improve coding or documention practices.

Objectives:  1) Describe the differences between ICD-9 and ICD-10 medical coding, including ICD-10 official conventions. 2) Identify appropriate resources to assure correct ICD-10 coding. 3) Identify strengths and areas for improvement in documentation of care as it relates to specific situations and coding practices.
