What's New in Equity Compensation 

Please join us for our first event, "What's New In Equity Compensation"  on Tuesday, May 17th  at SURF Incubator.  KTC attorneys Alex Modelski and Chris Brown will  discuss new trends in the design and granting of equity compensation, including stock options, RSUs, restricted stock and LLC units.  We will review important practical issues related to vesting, size of equity awards, managing expectations, tax withholding details, stock option pricing and monetization of awards on an exit transaction or termination of service.

• Employee/Management Relations: KTC attorneys, Kathy Feldman and Celeste Monroe, will be back, this time to talk about conveying company expectations and appraising employee performance.  Discussion will include critical policy considerations (related to drugs, alcohol, social media and computer privacy), documenting employee issues, performance improvement plans and effective terminations.
