To qualify as a Demonstration or Recognized Site for the Outdoor Classroom Project, each center must have a teacher who has completed the Outdoor Classroom Project Specialist Level I Training.
The Outdoor Classroom Project is an initiative of the Child Educational Center (CEC).
The philosophy of the Outdoor Classroom is
that all children need and benefit from more
time outdoors and that full development and
integration of outdoor and indoor programs
creates the optimal learning and growing
environment for young children.
