Please Join Us for a Special Announcement Regarding the Advanced Nanomanufacturing Cluster for Smart Sensors and Materials

The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative and Northeastern University invite you to join Governor Charlie Baker, President Joseph E. Aoun, industry and research leaders for a special event on April 19^th celebrating the Massachusetts Advanced Nanomanufacturing Cluster for Smart Sensors and Materials.

The event will bring together a collection of researchers, industry executives, academic and policy leaders who will highlight how the development of nanomaterials and ‘smart sensors’ in Massachusetts can have a revolutionary effect on 21^st Century technologies including wearable electronics and on the ‘Internet of Things’. The market for biosensors alone is estimated to be $14 billion in 2015 and the market for the ‘Internet of Things’ is estimated to grow to over $400 billion by 2024.

• 3:00 p.m.             Announcement related to the Massachusetts Advanced Nanomanufacturing Cluster  for Smart Sensors and Materials, featuring remarks from leaders including Governor Charlie Baker and Northeastern President Joseph E. Aoun.

• 4:00 p.m.                   Networking
