Many corporations in the US have a Matching donation program. They normally match the donation made by their employees, some times upto 100% and for their volunteer hours. We welcome you to VT Seva 'MAMATHA' event in Parsippany. The proceeds of this event will go towards education of underprivileged & visually challenged children, studying at schools and colleges supported by VT Seva in Vizag and Hyderabad.

 

Success Stories and Accomplishments of our students -

  • Netra Vidyalaya was awarded the "Best School" by the National Association for the Blind at the All India Sports and cultural meet in Mumbai. Netra Vidyala Student A Jagannatha Rao won "Best Male Sportsman" award at the National level competitions.
  • Out of the 70 schools and the best 500 athletes from all over India who competed at the meet, VT Seva supported school “Netra Vidyalaya, AP, India” came out with flying colors by winning 6 GOLD MEDALS, 2 SILVER MEDALS AND 1 BRONZE MEDAL.
  • Students are educated with the latest technology (laptops, JAWS software, Braille printers) and they appear for examinations on laptops. This was first of its kind in India.
  • Won South Zone Cricket Championship for Blind held in Chennai.
  • Recently, the first batch of Netra Degree College students recorded 100% pass rate compared to Osmania University (the one this college is affiliated to) whose pass rate throughout the state has been only 50%.
  • 50% of total students of Intermediate 2nd year (10 +2), Netra Junior College got Central Board Scholarship. All the B.Com (Computers) students secured distinction, 8 B.A. (HEP) secured 1st division and remaining 3 secured second division.

  • A student, Ram Prasad got selected to play for All India South Zone Cricket team.
  • Another student, Parameshwar Rao won state 1st in state level singing competition, competing with regular singers.
  • Results of the students of the Netra college for the Visually challenged supported by VT Seva
    • Salma got a job of Government School Teacher 
    • Rajkumar got a job in State Bank of Hyderabad 
    • Ramesh got a job in Central Bank of India 
    • Koteshwar rao got a job in Road Transport Authority, Khammam 
    • Swathi and Vijayadurga got jobs in “Office of the Deputy Director for disabled” in Rangareddy and NIzamabad districts respectively
