As a major cause of death and disability worldwide, traumatic brain injury has significant public health implications. Growing evidence suggests a link between traumatic brain injury and the development of dementia later in life.
The role of head trauma in neurodegenerative disorders is not without controversy, especially in the world of professional sports.

Join us for a special panel discussion on the effects of head injuries on the brain and the subsequent development of dementia among middle-aged or older adults, and hear from those who have cared for them as well as those who advocate for them.
