Let's Promote Local

Saturday, May 21

Chefs! Artists! Farmers! Neighbors! Small business! Families!

Take part in a new spring festival in Crown Heights, spotlighting local stars. Enjoy free wellness & food justice workshops, zumba, soccer, cooking demos, health screenings, arts booth with St. Ann's School & more for the whole family!

The event will celebrate and promote talent from Brooklyn and NYC - and bring back a farmers market at least for a day to Crown Heights - empowering underserved children and families to get access to healthy options.

All welcome!

We will advertise all vendors and businesses widely and attract delighted enthusiasts and folks looking for creative crafts and local services to stroll through the fair. They'll experience your artistry and/or your business.

Schools! Share what you're doing that's healthy. We'll be featuring student-run Hip2B Healthy Markets, gardening/composting and cooking demos.

The Brooklyn Community Health Expo with SUNY Downstate and other partners will highlight home-grown wellness from neighborhoods, stretching from Prospect Park to Brownsville to east New York, Brooklyn.

Go, central Brooklyn!
