Tooling Component Repair and Texturing Certification Combo Course - July 2016

This combination Tooling Component Repair and Texturing Certification course offers two days of intensive hands on bench training learning the skills of TIG and Laser Welding along with stoning and polishing to an SPI A-1 finish, and then another two days of learning the trade secrets of texturing.

Attendees will learn how to rework typical tooling issues such as worn edges, dings, scuffs, and scratches found in most molds (injection, blow, compression, etc.) through actual bench work. The rework techniques will include: Laser Welding, TIG Welding, Brazing, Stoning Tooling, Bluing and FItting Tooling, and Polishing Tooling.

Attendees will also learn how texturing is accomplished, from start to surface finish, allowing one to prevent and solve problems such as sink and scuff marks, streaking, drag and draft, gloss, paint reflection, texture matching, and more.
