Texturing Certification Training July 2016

ToolingDocs' Texturing Certification training is a new, hands-on program that is entirely focused on mold texturing. Attendees will learn how texturing is accomplished, from start to surface finish, allowing one to prevent and solve problems such as: sink marks, scuff marks, streaking, drag and draft, gloss, paint reflection, texture matching, pad printing over texture and more.

Course highlights include:

• How to address issues with Weld, EDM, and HAZ problems along with how different steels and aluminums affect the texturing process and repair
• Learn to texture steel from start to finish, including how to bench repair a damaged texture surface
• Discover the functional and visual reasons to choose a particular grain, and why giving this consideration early on is so important
• Understand the difference between engraving, etching and graining and how this choice affects a product
