Musical #1: Into the Woods* (FULL! Waitlist only)

Co-Produced with The Quannapowitt Players
Be careful what you wish for as Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s cockeyed fairytale comes to life in this adaptation of their groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical. Into The Woods JR. features all of your favorite characters—Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk), and the Witch in this lyrically rich re-telling of classic Brothers Grimm fables.

Pippi is the high spirited, warmhearted incarnation of every child's dream of freedom and power. Dressed in strange clothes and living with her horse and pet monkey, she possesses supernatural strength and untold wealth. When Pippi is not dancing with burglars who are trying to steal the gold coins given to her by her father (a pirate who is revered as a king by a tribe of South Sea island cannibals), she is at the circus fighting the strongest man in the world or playing tag with policemen. This lighthearted play has great parts for both boys and girls.

Musical #2: Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory* (FULL! Waitlist only)
Co-Produced in collaboration with Reading Recreation

The delicious adventures experienced by Charlie Bucket on his visit to Willy Wonka's mysterious chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder and new songs by Leslie Bricusse (Jekyll & Hyde, Doctor Dolittle) and Anthony Newley, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka TYA is a scrumdiddlyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth.

Technical Theatre Training Options for Teens!
Assistants-In-Training (ages 13-18)
Mon-Fri, 8:30am-12:30pm, 12:30-4:30pm, or 8:30-4:30
Tuition: $95/wk (half day) $140/wk (full day)
We would love to help you continue your theatrical education whether it is set or costume design, directing, choreography or stage management. Work one on one with our professional theatre staff for an educational and fun experience.
