Summer 2016 Art Adventure - Ages 7-12 

Join us this Summer for tons of fun and creativity! Summer Programs include:

 

Important Directions for Registration: Yes, you can register for more than one summer program and or for a sibling using the same "register now" link below. Once you hit the button, complete the info, and make your first selection, you'll scroll down to the end of the list and hit the "add" button to add another individual workshop or add a sibling. Sibling rates are valid when the sibling is in the same class.

Summer Art Adventure Program – Ages 7-12

With our week-long Art Adventures program, kids have the opportunity to paint, draw, sculpt, collage and build! The program encourages self expression, creative thinking and relaxation by teaching the artistic process with a combination of formal training, unique projects and exploration of different artistic media. Our expert staff will inspire your children to create amazing works of art. All levels welcome! 

Themed art weeks; 9am-4pm daily, drop-off at 8:30am, aftercare available; Tuition: $340/$2850sibling; Aftercare: 4-6pm $60/wk or $15/day
Art Shows: Fridays at 3:30pm; Art Instructors: Laura Root, Julia Cseko and tba

WK 6: Aug 1-5: Art in Nature
Take a note from the falling leaves, the budding flowers and the gnarly trees. Explore inspiration in the world around us from nature journals to earth works to environmental art. Creativity is just a step outside!

WK 7: Aug 8-12: Traveling Around the World with Art
Get your passports ready! Students will take a virtual tour around the world to study and create different styles of art. Asia, Africa, North America, and Central and South America are on the itinerary for this fantastic artistic adventure.

WK 8: Aug 15-19: Found Materials / Intro to Mixed Media
In this exciting week, students will explore a range of materials such as sticks, flowers, cardboard, paint, wire, and more to create 2-D and 3-D works of art.

WK 9: Aug 22-26: Cartooning
Have fun sketching out your own cartoons, learning about facial expressions, how to create movement, storyboards & more. Come join us for this fun-filled cartooning adventure!
