Women: Changing the Face of the American Dream

This event is a MUST for women thinking about starting a business or in the first couple years of their endeavor. Plan to:

  • Listen – to the experiences of successful women entrepreneurs

Julie Lenzer is the Director of the Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, within the Commerce Department’s Economic Development Administration.  As director, she is charged with driving programs and policies that support innovative economic development.

 Julie Lenzer is also a member of the Maryland Economic Development Commission.  She was recognized as a 2014 Influential Marylander and was the 2011 WIPP AT&T Innovator of the Year. She is also the author of The ParentPreneur Edge: What Parenting Teaches About Building a Successful Business (Wiley, 2007)
