Don't delay. This is the biggest trade show each year in downtown San Francisco and hotel space is going fast!
Storing electricity generated by solar PV systems is the hottest topic in renewable energy today. As the cost of battery energy storage drops dramatically and storage technology continues to improve, solar PV is being positioned to realize its full potential: the delivery of safe, clean and reliable electricity to consumers, commercial customers and utilities in the United States and worldwide.
But solar developers and integrators wishing to capitalize on the storage trend struggle with a bewildering array of battery storage technologies on the market, not to mention the prospect of better technologies coming on to the market soon. Monetizing a storage asset is also complex, and varies tremendously depending upon what the storage is used for and where it is located.
NAATBatt International, California Energy Storage Alliance and CalCharge have come together to offer two master classes for solar developers and integrators, to help them better understand the emerging storage opportunity. The two separate workshops, offered in the morning and afternoon of Wednesday, July 13, in the Moscone Center, will help developers and integrators better navigate the commercial challenges of storage development and better understand the storage products on the market today and their relative advantages and drawbacks.
Please use the link below to register for one or both workshops through the Intersolar registration website. Look for the dropdown menu that says "Workshops Moscone Center", click on that link, and then register for one or both of the NAATBatt Workshops. The cost is only $100 per workshop.

Afternoon Workshop
"What's Next in the Development of the California Energy Storage Market"
Wednesday, July 13, 2016
Moscone Center West, Level 3, Room 3010
San Francisco, CA
2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
California has been the leading market in North America for solar PV and for energy storage since the time that both technologies were first deployed in commercial quantities. It is essential to understand what California and California government has done to date to promote energy storage in order to understand where the opportunities in storage are likely to be in coming years.
This workshop will take both look back at the laws, programs and initiatives that made California the leading market for energy storage, and look forward to what new initiatives and requirements can be expected that will give rise to opportunities for developers and integrators in future years. California shows no signs of giving up its role as the principal laboratory for energy storage technology in the United States. Attend this workshop to get a detailed understanding about what drives the storage market in California and how the future may be the same and, perhaps, quite different.
Workshop Chair: Bernie Kotlier, IBEW-NECA of California/Nevada and Board Member of CalCharge and NAATBatt International
