The Goretti Group is kindly asking for a generous donation from all particpants, if possible. First 30 walkers and runners will pay $35 to the race organizers for the 5K and $100 for the Half Marathon. This is a discounted rate that will expire on August 17.

What is Team Race For the Chaste?
Team Race for the Chaste is a powerful way to witness to chastity as well as fundraise to share the joy of purity with thousands through the Goretti Group. Come and witness to the Lord's pure love at the America's Finest Half Marathon and 5K as a walker, runner or prayer warrior with our team of chastity champions.
This is a faith-based, fellowship, and fitness program designed to gather likeminded people to participate in a public fitness event while wearing a T-shirt to promote the cause. Our theme this year is "Glorify God in your body" (1 Corinthians 6:20).
Moms, do it for your kids! Husbands, do it for your wives! Youth, do it for your friends and future spouse! Make a spiritual offering through physical fitness!
For athletes and non-athletes alike! The race organizers do require a 1 hour limit for the 5K (3 miles) and a 3 hour limit for those participating in the Half Marathon.

Who's Invited?
YOU, for athletes and non-athletes. If you can walk at a 19 minute pace, you can become a walker or runner in the 5K (3 miles). If you are unable to walk for 10 minutes, you can become a cheerer or prayer sponsor!
Different Participant Categories
A. Walker
- Walks Half Marathon or 5K with a positive spirit, encouraging other particiants (Team Race for Chaste & other AFC participants)
- Might choose to sing a fun cadence or to pray publicly or silently during the walk on event day
B. Runner
- Runs Half Marathon or 5K with the goal of just finishing or with a specified "time" goal
- Runs with a positive spirit, encouraging other participants from Team Race for the Chaste or other AFC participants
- Might choose to sing a fun cadence or pray in a group or individually on event day
C. Cheerer/Prayer Warrior
- Prays for and encourages others on event day by public cheering etc.
- (Optional) Sponsors Team Race for the aste walker/runner by praying for and encouraging with weekly communications (text, phone calls, emails etc)
- Assigned to a cheerer station day of the event (Finish line or Goretti Sponsored Water station)
How Many Can Participate?
As many as possible! The more the merrier, all genders, all ages, all fitness backgrounds.
- Day of Event: Sign-up to participate as a:
- "Walk on Day of the Event", participant
- "Run on Day of the Event", participant
- "Cheer/Pray on Day of the Event", participant
After you sign up with us, and have chosen to walk or run, you will be directed to another website to identify weather you'd like to do the Half Marathon or 5K option. You will be directed here to America's Finest City Half Marathon & 5 K registration home page. Please Notes: You will be given a special discount code via email to get a discount on your ticket.
How does the "Day of Event" participation work?
Goal Settings
Each participant will join individually or as a group
and commit to goals in 3 distinct areas:
1. Prayer-raising (ex. asking others to pray 3 morning offerings, 3 sacrifices of favorite food at dinner, 5 rosaries etc)
2. Fundraising (ex. raise $125 to cover participation, $500 to support purity in youth, $1000 to win the prize etc.)
3. Physical Fitness: (ex. Bring my bloodsugar down to 50 by race day, run 8 minute mile, speed walk for 3 miles etc.)
