PSRG Inc. (www.psrg.com) is pleased to announce that we will hold our next PSM Forum luncheon in Louisiana on June 1, 2016 at Drusilla’s Place Catering in Baton Rouge from 11am to 1:30 pm. You are cordially invited to attend. A complimentary buffet lunch will be provided. There is no fee to attend.  

Since 2001, PSRG has organized and hosted this PSM Forum as a venue for facility owners/operators to learn and exchange industry best practices and lessons learned with industry colleagues, so if you work with an owner/operator company you are welcome to attend! 

Mr. King is a native Australian professional process safety and fire protection engineer.  He graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering majoring in fuel engineering from the University of New South Wales, which he later supplemented with a Master's degree in Leadership and Management from Curtin University.  He is a registered PE in Texas and Queensland, a Chartered Professional Engineer in Australia and a Chartered Engineer in the UK, and a Certified Fire Protection Specialist. Mr. King has 30 years of experience covering plant operations, plant design, construction, commissioning, incident investigation and consulting in various fields including oil, gas and chemicals, mining and metals, power generation, food processing, and general manufacturing.

Mr. Summers is also a native Australian and graduated with Civil Engineering and Applied Mathematics degrees from the University of New South Wales in Sydney.  He then attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he obtained an M.S. in Structural Engineering.  He is a registered PE in Texas, SE in California, and CPEng in Australia, and an ASCE Fellow.  Mr. Summers has over 30 years of experience in analysis and design of onshore and offshore structures, buildings, components, tanks and pipelines subjected to static, dynamic, blast, fire, high wind and earthquake loadings.  He has also served on a number of committees charged with developing design and evaluation criteria for both new and existing industrial facilities, and has provided expert witness services for legal disputes related to construction, settlement, wind, blast and earthquake loading.

For both events, the doors will open at 10.45 am, with lunch available from 11.00 am.  The presentation will commence around noon followed by a Q&A session.
