As ISIL continues its campaign of organized rape and sexual assault, sexual
slavery, and forced marriage across Syria and Iraq, human rights &
humanitarian actors struggle to document these crimes and preserve
evidence for future accountability mechanisms, while also providing services
to the survivors. Join us for a conversation with human rights and humanitarians
who have created a system of best practices to deal with these frequently
conflicting goals.

Moderator:
Christie Edwards | Chair, Lieber Society on the Law of Armed Conflict

Speakers:

Federica Tronchin | SGBV & MENA Region Programs Manager
Justice Rapid Response (JRR)

Shabnam Mojtahedi | Legal & Strategy Analyst
